What You’ll Do

As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (Palantir Foundry) — Experienced Associate, you’ll deliver client-facing data engineering and software solutions using Palantir Foundry and related tools. Working within a Technology Consulting practice for a confidential client, you will:

• Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of data pipelines and applications in Palantir Foundry
• Translate client requirements into technical designs and implement scalable data solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, analysts, solution architects) to integrate large datasets and machine learning models
• Coach and mentor junior engineers and help the team adopt best practices
• Analyze system interactions, identify performance or security improvements, and implement changes
• Manage project tasks, timelines, and contribute to budgeting and delivery planning
• Build and maintain strong client relationships; present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Promote adoption of innovative technologies and support change management during deployments
• Uphold professional and technical standards and follow the confidential client’s code of conduct

Qualifications

Minimum requirements (must have):

• Bachelor’s degree (any field) or equivalent experience
• 1+ year of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, or related client-facing roles
• Experience working with large datasets and modern data platforms
• Familiarity with Python and/or TypeScript

Preferred / differentiators:

• Experience with Palantir Foundry (Foundry Data Engineer, Solution Architect, or Application Developer)
• Background in Analytics/Data Science, AI/Robotics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
• Practical experience deploying machine learning/AI solutions in production
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and customer-centric delivery
• Prior consulting or client-account experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $63,000 - $140,000 (range provided by confidential client). Actual pay is based on experience, qualifications, and location and will comply with applicable employment laws.
• Eligible for annual discretionary bonus and standard benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, etc.).
• The confidential client offers additional professional development and training opportunities.

Location & Work Model

• Location: West Milwaukee, WI (on-site or hybrid as required by the engagement). Local candidates who can work from or near West Milwaukee are preferred.
• Role may require travel to client sites for deployments and workshops.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements unless otherwise stated by the confidential client’s policy.
