Role Overview
Confidential Client is seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (Palantir Foundry - Experienced Associate) to design, build, and deploy data solutions using Palantir Foundry and related tooling. In this client-facing engineering role you will translate business problems into robust data pipelines and applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help clients adopt analytic workflows that deliver measurable outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Lead development and deployment of data solutions using Palantir Foundry and Foundry AIP
- Build data pipelines, transforms, and modular applications to support analytics and decision-making
- Work directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs
- Coach and collaborate with team members to drive delivery quality and knowledge sharing
- Analyze system interactions, performance, and data flows to identify improvement opportunities
- Manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverable quality throughout the engagement lifecycle
- Promote adoption of repeatable patterns, automation, and testing to improve maintainability
- Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to architectural direction
- Uphold professional and technical standards while delivering client value
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year of professional experience building data or software solutions
- Hands-on experience or demonstrated ability in software engineering and data engineering concepts
Preferred Qualifications / What Sets You Apart
- Experience with Palantir Foundry and Foundry AIP (data engineering, transforms, foundry apps)
- Background as a Foundry Data Engineer, Solution Architect, or Application Developer
- Strong skills in Python and/or TypeScript for building data workflows and applications
- Experience working with large datasets and designing performant data models
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to collaborate across diverse technical teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience delivering impact beyond expectations on client engagements
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $63,000 - $140,000 (actual compensation dependent on skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and subject to applicable laws)
- Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus where applicable
- Typical benefits may include medical, dental, vision, retirement savings (401k), paid time off and holidays, and other standard benefits — actual benefits will be provided by Confidential Client and may vary by location.
