What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an experienced associate-level forward deployed data engineer to help design, build, test, and deliver data-driven software solutions for client engagements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into reliable, scalable applications and integrations.

• Design, code, test, and maintain applications that deliver excellent user experiences
• Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze business requirements
• Apply Python and other scripting languages to create efficient, scalable solutions
• Use API management and enterprise application integration approaches to connect systems
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards to maintain quality
• Implement Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices to streamline deployments
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues across environments
• Engage in QA testing to validate functionality and reliability
• Support software project management activities to meet timelines and deliverables
• Build client relationships through clear communication and timely delivery
• Embrace continuous learning and feedback to grow your technical and consulting skills

Qualifications

What you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in software or data engineering-related work
• Proficiency in Python and general scripting
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and practices
• Experience with API management or enterprise application integration concepts
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $63,000 - $153,000 per year. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable employment laws.
• Confidential Client offers a benefits package that may include medical, dental, vision, retirement savings (401k), paid time off, and other standard benefits. Specific benefits and eligibility will be provided to candidates during the hiring process.

• Up to 80% travel may be required depending on client engagements.
