What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Forensic Analytics Analyst to join a consultative offerings practice focused on digital forensics, anti-money laundering analytics, and forensic analytics. In this role you will apply data analytics, AI/ML, and investigative techniques to help clients address regulatory, risk, and forensic challenges.

  • Leverage statistical and quantitative analysis, rules-based methods, and predictive modeling to support investigations, anti-corruption compliance, restructuring, quality and enterprise fraud management
  • Apply advanced analytics, AI/GenAI, and machine learning to identify patterns, explain past events, and support decision-making
  • Query and mine large datasets and high-performance relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Microsoft Access, OLAP) to extract relevant transactional and financial evidence
  • Design and develop predictive models, text analytics solutions, and anomaly-detection frameworks
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations (global datasets, geospatial when required) to communicate insights to clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with attorneys, forensic accountants, investigators, software engineers, and multidisciplinary analytics teams to deliver data-driven forensic solutions
  • Contribute to practice-level technology initiatives and continuously adopt new tools and methods

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify transaction patterns, anomalies, and potential fraud indicators
  • Develop data analysis plans, analytics strategies, and testing approaches for forensic engagements
  • Create reproducible analytics workflows and document findings clearly for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support model assessment, validation, and interpretation for forensic use cases
  • Present results in written and visual formats that non-technical stakeholders can understand

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university with expected graduation by Spring/Summer 2027, or holder of a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Able to travel up to 25% on average, as required by client engagements
  • At least 18 years of age at time of employment
  • Reside within commutable distance of the assigned office and able to commute daily if required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; solid understanding of Windows-based systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • Relevant internship or professional experience in analytics, investigations, or consulting
  • Familiarity with analytics and data tools, including:
    • Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle
    • Python (predictive analytics/data mining)
    • Data visualization tools (QlikView, Tableau, Power BI)
    • Big data tools (Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Impala)
    • Reporting platforms (Business Objects, Reporting Services)
    • Machine learning / GenAI methods and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Demonstrated interest in forensic analytics, anti-money laundering, or fraud risk management

Compensation & Location

  • This is a full-time role based in Highland Park, TX (Confidential Client office). You must live within a commutable distance of the assigned office.
  • The client provides an estimated starting compensation of approximately $95,000 (disclosed estimate). Actual pay will depend on skills, experience, credentials, and location-specific adjustments.
