What You’ll Do

Confidential client is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple units. This role supports variable assignments and flexible shift coverage to meet patient needs.

• Provide direct nursing care and clinical assessments across assigned units
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing interventions and documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and transfers
• Adapt to different unit workflows and patient populations in the float pool
• Participate in professional development and maintain required competencies

Qualifications

Minimum requirements (as described by the client):

• Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a professional nurse (RN) in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia — or eligibility for Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) temporary appointment while pursuing licensure
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (ACEN or CCNE accreditation accepted)
• English language proficiency sufficient for safe, direct patient care
• Education and experience will determine grade/level (Nurse I Levels I–III, Nurse II, Nurse III) per the client’s qualification standards:
  • ADN/diploma or BSN/MSN/Doctoral pathways and years of experience map to different grade levels
  • Candidates should review the full grade/dimension criteria via the client’s assessment link (internal application)

Preferred (if applicable):

• Unit-specific experience that can be applied across multiple clinical areas
• Demonstrated adaptability and strong clinical judgment in varied settings

Notes:

• This position may be hired as Contract / Full-time per the client’s needs.
• Applicants pending completion of education may be tentatively selected but cannot be hired until education requirements are met.
• GNT Exception: Candidates who meet education requirements but lack licensure may be appointed temporarily (120-day GNT appointment; extensions considered per policy).

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary range (provided by the client): $75,836 - $136,864 per year
• Employment type: Contract, Full time
• Schedule: Variable shifts based on unit assignments (float pool)

• This role requires maintaining required licensure and any mandatory health/occupational screenings.
