What You’ll Do

Confidential Client's strategy teams tackle firmwide priorities using a hypothesis-driven, empirical approach. As a Firmwide Strategy Analyst you will join one strategy team (team placement determined through the interview process) and contribute to high-visibility projects that influence senior leadership.

  • Own a well-scoped workstream and apply structured problem-solving to address strategic priorities
  • Rapidly build domain knowledge and develop project-specific content
  • Gather, model, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to test hypotheses and surface key insights
  • Produce concise, executive-quality presentation materials that communicate findings and recommendations
  • Help design and guide stakeholder interviews to surface business pain points and opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to refine recommended solutions
  • Manage workstream deadlines, proactively escalate blockers, and drive deliverables to completion
  • Work closely with project Vice Presidents and Associates and be receptive to coaching in an apprenticeship model

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience demonstrated via internships, research, case competitions, student consulting/strategy organizations, or similar leadership experiences requiring structured problem-solving and analytics
  • Strong analytical ability with comfort applying quantitative methods to arrive at clear recommendations
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the confidence to communicate to senior audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented operating style
  • Ability to manage key elements of a workstream to completion and escalate when needed
  • Intellectual curiosity and an ability to learn new subjects quickly

Preferred

  • Background or internship experience in financial services or consulting
  • Strong capabilities across Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Comfort using modern AI tools and platforms to increase operational efficiency

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary (Manhattan, NY): $100,000 / year (range: $100,000 - $100,000).
  • Competitive total rewards package and benefits may include healthcare, retirement savings, tuition reimbursement, mental health support, and other programs (eligibility and details determined by the client).

Note: Pay and benefits will be determined by the client based on role, experience, skill set, and location.
