Role Overview
Our confidential client in the Engineering industry is hiring multiple Fire Sprinkler Designers to support commercial, institutional, and industrial projects in Centennial, CO. This is a full-time position focused on design, hydraulic calculations, coordination with project teams, and producing installation and as-built drawings.
What You’ll Do
- Design automatic fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, foam, and fire pump systems) using AutoSprink and HydroCAD
- Perform hydraulic calculations and ensure systems meet applicable codes and authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements
- Prepare plan (shop) drawings and material submittals for architects, engineers, clients, and AHJs
- Coordinate sprinkler design with existing structures and other MEP trades to support fabrication and installation
- Produce detailed fabrication/installation drawings and "as-built" documentation for client archives
- Work cross-functionally with Sales and Estimating to optimize designs for cost-effective installation
- Mentor and coach junior designers when in a senior-level capacity
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Fire Protection, Engineering Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the fire sprinkler industry (design experience required)
- Experience with AutoSprink and/or HydroCAD strongly preferred
- NICET Level I required (or actively pursuing NICET Level I)
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Ability and willingness to access all points of construction sites in varied conditions
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime or weekends as project schedules require
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay: $30.00 per hour – $35.00 per hour (actual compensation subject to variation based on experience, education, and location)

Location & Travel
- Work location: Centennial, CO (onsite office-based role with regular field visits to project sites in the region)
- Some travel to local project sites required; candidates must be able to access construction sites and work in a range of environments and weather conditions.
