What You’ll Do
Our confidential client is hiring Fire Sprinkler Designers to support building projects across the Centennial / Denver, CO area. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to produce quality fire suppression designs for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.
- Design automatic fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, foam, and fire pumps) using AutoSprink and HydroCAD
- Perform hydraulic calculations for fire sprinkler systems to meet applicable codes and authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, material submittals and installation drawings for review by architects, engineers, clients, and AHJs
- Coordinate sprinkler layouts with structural elements and other MEP trades
- Produce “as-built” drawings and maintain accurate project documentation for client and internal archives
- Work with Sales, Estimating and Field teams to optimize designs for fabrication and installation
- Mentor and coach junior designers (for experienced candidates)
- Support project life-cycle activities from design through handoff to installation and inspection teams
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Fire Protection, Mechanical, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fire sprinkler design or the fire protection industry
- Experience with AutoSprink and/or HydroCAD preferred
- NICET Level I required or actively pursuing NICET certification
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to collaborate across teams
- Ability and willingness to access all areas of construction sites in varied climates and conditions
- Self-motivated, safety-minded, and able to meet deadlines reliably
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour (actual pay will vary based on experience, qualifications, and location)

Work Location & Schedule
