Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring Financial Service Representatives (Personal Bankers) at multiple levels (FSR 1, 2, and 3) for the Wenatchee, WA branch. These are retail-branch roles focused on delivering excellent member service, relationship-building, and consumer lending support. Opportunities are available at entry, intermediate, and senior levels depending on experience.


Compensation (Non-Exempt / Hourly ranges)

  • Financial Service Representative 1 — Range 8C: $22.84 - $34.28 per hour
  • Financial Service Representative 2 — Range 9C: $25.95 - $38.93 per hour
  • Financial Service Representative 3 — Range 10C: $29.50 - $44.26 per hour

What You’ll Do

This role varies by level. Core responsibilities include:

  • Welcome and assist members with transactions, account inquiries, and day-to-day banking needs.
  • Open and maintain deposit accounts (checking, savings, IRAs) and verify documentation.
  • Take and process consumer loan and HELOC applications; support loan closings and follow-up.
  • Deliver needs-based conversations that identify member goals and recommend appropriate credit union products and services.
  • Cross-sell relevant products (consumer loans, credit cards, digital banking services) while providing a warm, member-first experience.
  • Ensure all transactions and member interactions comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a resource for escalated member situations and refer complex needs to appropriate specialists.
  • For FSR 2 and FSR 3: manage a growing book of business, perform financial analysis for lending opportunities, and proactively engage in relationship development.
  • For FSR 3: mentor and coach junior staff, lead in management’s absence, and handle advanced account types (Estates, Trusts, fiduciary accounts) and complex lending activity.

Qualifications

Minimum (by level):

  • FSR 1: High school diploma or GED; ~6 months to 2 years customer service/retail or financial experience.
  • FSR 2: High school diploma or GED; 2 to 4 years retail banking/financial services experience with proven sales or relationship results.
  • FSR 3: High school diploma or GED; 5+ years progressive financial services experience, demonstrated book-of-business management and lending experience.

Required certifications (or ability to obtain within a required timeframe):

  • NMLS certification (required or must be obtained within designated timeframe)
  • Notary Public license (required or must be obtained within designated timeframe)

Preferred:

  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Prior credit union or retail banking experience
  • Familiarity with account-opening procedures, consumer & HELOC lending, and small business banking

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to read, write, and present information clearly in one-on-one settings.
  • Consultative sales approach and ability to develop trust-based member relationships.
  • Comfort with multi-tasking in a fast-paced branch environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and core banking systems (e.g., Symitar).
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and sit or stand for extended periods.

Performance Expectations

  • Meet or exceed individual and branch service and sales goals.
  • Provide accurate, efficient, and compliant service across transactions.
  • Demonstrate growth through training, coaching, and development of product knowledge.
  • For senior roles: act as a subject matter expert and mentor to others; lead by example.
