What You’ll Do

This 12+ month contract Financial Data Analyst will provide financial reporting, monitoring, and data collection to support business operations for energy-efficiency programs across MA, CT, and NH. You will work onsite in Westwood, MA (2 days/week) and collaborate with leadership, energy-efficiency consultants, third‑party vendors, and lending partners to deliver accurate reports, maintain budgets, and support loan administration activities (including residential heat pump loans).

  • Support financial and programmatic reporting across residential and commercial channel programs in MA, CT, and NH
  • Maintain and reconcile corporate budgets, accounting records, and regulatory reports
  • Collect, validate, and report KPIs and other performance metrics to leadership and stakeholders
  • Coordinate with external vendors, lenders, and internal teams to ensure accurate financial data flows
  • Assist with energy-efficiency loan administration and reporting related to heat pump and other residential loans
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analyses and modeling to support decision-making and program oversight

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare periodic financial reports, variance analyses, and budget-to-actual reviews
  • Build and maintain financial models and dashboards to track program performance and cash flows
  • Ensure data integrity through routine reconciliation and validation processes
  • Monitor project finance activities and provide oversight for contract deliverables and vendor invoices
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements and respond to data requests from stakeholders
  • Work effectively under deadlines and provide clear, customer-focused communication to internal and external partners

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Background in finance, accounting, or a related field with demonstrated financial experience
  • Experience with financial reporting, financial modeling, and analysis
  • Knowledge of project finance, budget reporting, data maintenance, and contract oversight
  • Understanding of financial statements and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate and hold stakeholders accountable
  • Customer-driven mindset and demonstrated initiative

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting energy-efficiency programs, utility channel programs, or loan administration
  • Experience coordinating with third-party vendors and lenders on program-related finance tasks
  • Familiarity with program KPIs and regulatory reporting in the energy or utility sectors

Logistics & Employment Type

  • Employment type: Contractor — 12+ month engagement
  • Work location: Westwood, MA — onsite 2 days per week (supports programs in MA, CT, NH)
