Data Analyst
The Data Analyst at Confidential Client supports business operations by analyzing financial and operational data to inform sales, pricing, and financial reporting decisions. This role focuses on profitability and inventory reporting across leasing, wholesale, and commercial sales, driving key business strategies and process improvements at the corporate headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas.

What You’ll Do
- Support wholesale and leasing teams by analyzing financial and sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to inform pricing, lot acquisition, and leasing decisions.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards (monthly close, KPI tracking, variance analysis) for finance and operations leadership.
- Reconcile and validate data from ERP/CRM systems and external partners; ensure data integrity.
- Translate complex data into clear insights and presentations for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Automate repetitive reporting tasks using Excel, SQL, or BI tools.
- Assist with ad-hoc analyses including profitability by community, product line, and financing scenarios.
Who You Are (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in finance, data analysis, or related roles; entry-level candidates with strong analytical skills welcome.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas) and basic SQL knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Good verbal and written communication; able to present findings to non-technical audiences.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.; Confidential Client will comply with applicable employment laws.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in homebuilding, real estate, mortgage, or wholesale/leasing analytics.
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems and data reconciliation.
- Coursework or certification in data analysis, finance, or accounting.
