Role Overview

Confidential Client (Accounting & Finance) is hiring an entry-level Financial Data Analyst in Princeton, FL. This role focuses on validating and maintaining financial data, performing quality-control checks, and producing accurate reports using Excel. Ideal for candidates early in their finance careers who have strong attention to detail and solid Excel skills.

What You’ll Do

• Validate, update, and maintain financial data with a high level of accuracy
• Perform quality-control checks and identify discrepancies in financial information
• Research and resolve data, calculation, and formula discrepancies
• Use Excel to organize, analyze, and report financial information (lookups, pivot tables)
• Review company filings, financial statements, corporate events, and other financial data
• Support ongoing financial data and reporting projects
• Manage high-volume, repetitive data tasks while maintaining quality and productivity
• Adapt to changing priorities and time-sensitive workloads
• Maintain organized documentation and follow established data-quality procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including lookup functions and pivot tables
• Working knowledge of financial statements and basic financial analysis
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Ability to analyze information, identify discrepancies, and solve problems
• Ability to manage repetitive, detail-oriented work while maintaining consistent productivity and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage competing priorities

• Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
