What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a Financial Data Analyst to support Large Financial Institution (LFI) readiness and regulatory reporting efforts. You will gather, validate, analyze, and report on key business data to ensure accurate, timely regulatory submissions and internal reporting.

  • Support LFI readiness by developing business requirements aligned to FRB regulations (e.g., Reg YY, FR 2052a, FR Y‑14, FR Y‑15).
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, insights, and improvement opportunities.
  • Validate data accuracy and perform regular quality checks.
  • Execute and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify data integrity.
  • Collaborate with Technology to translate business requirements into implementable solutions and test deliverables.
  • Facilitate and participate in cross-functional workshops to clarify requirements and resolve defects or questions.
  • Maintain documentation of data sourcing, transformations, and reporting methodologies.
  • Build data visualizations and dashboards that communicate key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deliverables within project timelines.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
  • At least 2 years’ experience using data analysis tools (SQL, Excel) and visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn Reg YY and related reporting regulations (FR 2052a, FR Y‑14, FR Y‑15).
  • Intermediate knowledge of banking operations (deposits, loan administration, treasury management) and regulatory compliance basics.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to validate complex datasets.
  • Intermediate to advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively in team environments and managing multiple stakeholders.

Compensation & Location

  • Base pay range: $94,000 — $128,000 per year.
  • This role is based in Phoenix, AZ. Onsite attendance is expected (approximately 4 days per week).
  • Employment type: Full-time.
