Financial Data Analyst
The Financial Data Analyst will manage and consolidate complex financial and operational data across multiple markets, supporting executive-level reporting and business process automation. This role requires strong analytical skills and collaboration with various departments including Finance, FP&A, Payroll, HR, and executive leadership to transform data into actionable insights. It is a high-visibility contract position with potential for permanent hire, focused on enhancing data-driven decision-making within a large entertainment Confidential Client.

What You’ll Do
This role is the primary owner of financial and operational data management across multiple markets and business units for a confidential client in the Business Consulting and Services industry. You will consolidate complex datasets, maintain reporting tools and dashboards, support executive-level reporting, and identify automation opportunities to streamline business processes.
- Consolidate and validate financial and operational data from multiple systems and markets
- Maintain and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and executive-facing reports
- Support ad-hoc executive requests (including corporate planning and finance leadership)
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation to increase data accuracy and reporting efficiency
- Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Payroll, HR, and Accounting to ensure aligned metrics and timely delivery
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear visualizations and presentations
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, enjoys working with large datasets, and can translate data into actionable business insights.
- 3–5+ years in Data Analysis, Financial Analysis, Business Analysis, Reporting, or a similar role
- Advanced Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas)
- Experience consolidating and working with large datasets from multiple sources
- Proven ability to create reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
We provide transparent compensation for this role:
- Base pay range (annual equivalent): $70,000 — $82,000 per year
- Contract hourly range listed by client: $35 — $41 / hour
- Benefits (for eligible roles/tenures): medical, dental, vision insurance; HSA/FSA/DC FSA options; 401(k) with employer match. Benefit eligibility and start dates will follow the client’s policies and applicable law.
Exact pay will be based on skills, experience, and education and may vary by location as required by state and local law.
