What You’ll Do

This Financial Data Analyst role is focused on turning complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights that influence clinical and business decisions. You will partner across finance, clinical teams, and external stakeholders to deliver high-visibility analytics, reporting, and process improvements.

• Analyze large financial datasets to identify trends, drivers, and variances.
• Build, maintain, and automate financial reports and executive dashboards.
• Translate data findings into clear recommendations and presentations for leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical, operations, finance) to support business initiatives.
• Improve data pipelines, reporting processes, and dashboard performance.
• Support ad-hoc analyses, forecasting, and financial modeling as needed.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate blends strong financial acumen with hands-on technical skills in data tools and visualization.

• 4+ years of financial analytics or related technical experience (healthcare experience preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, modeling).
• Hands-on experience with SQL or other database tools for large dataset analysis.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, or similar visualization platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
• Experience with Python or another analytical programming language is a plus.

Nice-to-Have / Preferred

• Prior experience working with healthcare financial or clinical datasets.
• Experience automating reporting workflows and dashboard refreshes.
• Familiarity with data modeling, ETL concepts, and data governance best practices.
• Strong stakeholder management with the ability to present to senior leaders.

Location & Schedule

• Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex — hybrid flexibility (on-site and remote schedule to be determined by the hiring manager).

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related).
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in financial analytics, reporting, or business intelligence.
