About the Role

This is an entry-level Financial Consultant role focused on ERP implementation, offered by a confidential client in the IT industry. You will work at the intersection of finance and technology to help clients implement ERP solutions that improve accounting, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. You’ll partner with senior consultants, internal teams, and client accounting leaders to translate business processes into system functionality, validate financial configurations, and support adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with confidential client teammates and client accounting leaders to translate financial processes into ERP functionality (budgeting, reporting, compliance).
• Support configuration of accounting workflows so system setups reflect financial best practices.
• Document requirements, map processes, and create diagrams that guide implementation.
• Test ERP financial modules for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Support change management and train client staff on new, ERP-driven workflows.
• Communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly to project teams and client stakeholders.
• Build consulting skills through exposure to executive decision-making, structured analysis, and client-facing work.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• Internship or early professional experience in accounting or finance preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; exposure to ERP or financial software is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and accountability.

Location & Schedule

• Location: Chandler, AZ (on-site preferred). Remote arrangements are considered only in limited circumstances; the role favors in-person collaboration.
• Employment Type: Contract and/or Full-time (per project needs).

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated pay: $90,463 per year (estimated).
