Overview
Confidential Client is seeking Financial Analyst candidates for a hybrid, full-time role based in Murray, UT. This role supports budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and operational improvement initiatives. Multiple levels (Financial Analyst I, II, and Senior Financial Analyst) will be considered — responsibilities and compensation will align with experience and demonstrated skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial support for budgeting, strategic planning, variance reporting, and ad-hoc analysis for a facility, region, division, or system team.
- Complete assigned tasks related to operating and capital budgets, strategic planning, patient accounts, and operations with accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare routine to moderately complex financial analyses, variance reports, and ad-hoc reports.
- Develop quantitative reports and dashboards using data sources to analyze clinical and operational issues.
- Participate in system-wide processes or improvement projects and support operational initiatives to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Communicate findings to internal stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making.
Work Schedule & Location
- Hybrid role: on-site presence required — 4 days in office, 1 day remote option after completion of training.
- Core business hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Work location: Murray, UT.
Compensation
Pay ranges vary by level and experience (hourly rates shown):
- Financial Analyst I: $31.01 – $48.84 per hour
- Financial Analyst II: $34.26 – $53.96 per hour
- Senior Financial Analyst: $37.87 – $59.63 per hour
Actual pay is dependent on experience, level, and qualifications.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related field preferred (degree verification required).
- Financial Analyst I: Entry-level; no professional work experience required (one year preferred).
- Financial Analyst II: Typically 2 years of professional experience in financial analysis; relevant master’s degree may substitute or supplement.
- Senior Financial Analyst: Typically 4+ years of professional financial analysis experience; a master’s in Accounting/Finance with relevant experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with spreadsheets and standard productivity tools.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with budgeting, finance tracking, project management, and familiarity with healthcare finance processes (for higher-level roles).
