What You’ll Do
Financial Analyst (Middle Office Trading Desk) — Minneapolis, MN: support hedging and post-trade processes for derivatives trading desks, produce daily P&L and market-risk reports, and build reporting tools used by traders and risk partners.
- Manage post-trade workflow for hedging derivatives including trade capture, confirmations, clearing and lifecycle events.
- Produce daily Profit & Loss and market-risk analysis; communicate insights to traders and desk leads.
- Build, enhance, and maintain reporting and analysis tools using Power BI, Excel, SQL and Python.
- Support ad-hoc reporting requests for internal stakeholders (Audit, Compliance, Asset Liability Management) and respond to inquiries.
- Implement and monitor controls; partner with Operations to identify process and control improvements.
- Analyze derivative datasets (interest rate swaps, xVA, cross-currency trades) to support desk operations and audit inquiries.
- Document procedures and contribute to process automation and data-model improvements.
Required (Basic) Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Typically less than one year of related experience (entry-level to early-career).
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with middle office workflows, funding and liquidity concepts.
- Knowledge of derivatives, loan structures, and securitizations.
- Experience with Power BI dashboard design and related data models.
- Programming skills (Python, VBA, SQL) and experience building reporting pipelines.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range (base): $64,855.00 – $76,300.00 per year (range reflects primary location; actual pay may vary by location and experience).

Work Model & Location
- Hybrid/flexible schedule with an in-office expectation of approximately 3–4 days per week in Minneapolis, MN; remaining days may be remote.
