What You’ll Do

This Financial Analyst role supports the Funding and Program Services team by maintaining financial data, producing recurring and ad-hoc reports, and processing transactional activity in the financial system to keep sponsor and leadership reporting accurate and timely.


Responsibilities

  • Update and distribute monthly sponsor reports using Microsoft 365 and Excel
  • Maintain master data and Points of Contact for program sponsor reporting
  • Produce financial reports using data-warehouse tools and prepare senior leadership slides
  • Process financial transactions in SAP (funding, deobligations, TEC, PoP dates)
  • Track and update grant validity and budget dates
  • Use templates and tools to complete routine financial taskers efficiently
  • Support special projects and perform ad hoc analyses as requested

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Entry level — 0–2 years experience in administrative or financial roles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems
  • Customer-service orientation

Preferred

  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Experience with data-warehouse reporting tools

Clearance & Employment Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
  • Selected candidates will undergo a pre-employment background check and must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret-level DoD security clearance.
  • Employment will be directly with Confidential Client.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hiring Range (base salary estimate): $66,000–$87,600
    • Final salary will depend on experience, skills, internal equity, and applicable laws.
