What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a junior-level Financial Analyst to support day-to-day accounting operations and basic financial analysis. This is an entry-level, developmental role providing exposure to general ledger work, payroll and receivable analysis, and reporting processes.
- Perform general accounting tasks and maintain accurate records in the general ledger
- Assist with payroll analysis and reconciliation
- Support accounts receivable analysis and cash application tasks
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist with month-end close activities
- Work with senior finance staff to compile data for management reporting
- Reconcile transactional data and identify discrepancies for resolution
- Help document processes and support ad-hoc analytical requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Minimum 1 year experience in bookkeeping or accounting-related role
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger systems
- Comfortable with numbers and basic financial calculations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication; ability to work with cross-functional teams
Skills & Tools (preferred / helpful)
- General ledger systems (experience with any ERP or accounting software is a plus)
- Microsoft Excel — formulas, basic functions, and data organization
- Familiarity with payroll and accounts receivable processes
- Ability to learn reporting tools and financial templates quickly
Compensation & Location
- Estimated pay: $77,675 per year (estimated)
- Location: Dobbs Ferry, NY — on-site or as specified by the client
- Employment type: Full-time
