Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst based in Hopeful Heights, KY (zip 41042). This role provides departmental budget support across North America (three distribution sites and one remanufacturing site), contributes to month-end close, prepares consolidated financial data and statistical reporting, and supports forecasting and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).


What You’ll Do

  • Prepare analyses and reports for department managers to support decision-making.
  • Support the annual budget process and develop expense and staffing forecasts.
  • Assist with month-end close: journal entries, report generation, and deliverable preparation.
  • Consolidate financial data and prepare statistical reporting (performance, variance explanations, cost analysis).
  • Maintain and improve databases and files (Microsoft Excel and Access) to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Execute assigned special projects and support costing performance initiatives.
  • Develop, document, and help improve key internal controls.
  • Partner with stakeholders across functions to provide financial insight and business guidance.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Education: College/university degree required (Finance, Accounting, or related field). BS preferred.
  • Experience: Entry-level — designed for candidates within 2 years of completing their highest degree.
  • Eligibility: U.S.-based role. International students (F-1) may be eligible if they have approved CPT/OPT that relates to their degree and is authorized by their university. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.; Confidential Client will follow applicable U.S. employment verification requirements.
  • Role type: Full-time, Exempt — Entry Level. On-site with flexibility (not 100% remote).
  • Relocation: Relocation package available.

Required Skills & Tools

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (required).
  • Microsoft Access skills (preferred).
  • Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems (preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Compensation & Logistics

  • Salary range: $58,400 — $87,600 per year.
  • Employment type: Full-time, Exempt — Entry Level.
  • Work location: On-site in Hopeful Heights, KY with some flexibility across North America sites.
  • Start date: ASAP.

Early Careers & International Student Guidance

  • Exempt Entry Level: Intended for external candidates within 2 years of completing their highest degree (Bachelor, Master, PhD, MBA, or JD) from an accredited U.S. institution and currently residing within the continental U.S.
  • International students: F-1 visa holders must secure approved CPT/OPT before starting any Early Career assignment; CPT/OPT must relate to the degree and be authorized by the student’s university international office.
