Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Financial Analyst to support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities in Charlotte, NC. This highly visible role helps produce forward-looking financial statements, operating metrics, valuations, and internal reporting used by senior management and the Board.


What You’ll Do

  • Support monthly KPI reporting, prepare quarterly scorecards, and produce ad-hoc reports for leadership.
  • Assist in development of the annual five‑year business plan and quarterly reforecast.
  • Prepare quarterly valuations and support the annual appraisal process.
  • Maintain the monthly corporate cash forecast and property‑level cash flow models.
  • Manage and develop Excel-based financial models and support automation efforts.
  • Research competitor performance, market statistics, and regional benchmarks to inform analysis.
  • Act as a liaison between corporate and regional offices to gather data and ensure consistent reporting.
  • Provide analysis of internal and external data to support business decisions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or Real Estate required.
  • 0–1 year of related work experience (entry-level).
  • Financial modeling experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience performing financial analysis in finance or real estate is a plus.

Skills & Attributes

  • Advanced Excel skills; ability to build and maintain complex models.
  • VBA experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; able to prepare clear deliverables for management.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization; able to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills; able to convey analyses to senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated base salary: $75,678 per year (estimated). Actual compensation will depend on experience and location-specific considerations.
  • Benefits and additional compensation details will be provided by the confidential client during the interview process.

Location & Schedule

  • On-site in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a full-time role.
  • Standard business hours with occasional deadlines that may require extended hours during month/quarter close activities.
