What You’ll Do

This Financial Analyst role supports a confidential client in the Accounting & Finance industry. You will prepare analyses and reports for department managers and support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close activities across multiple North America sites.

  • Prepare and consolidate financial data for reporting and decision support.
  • Support annual budget development, expense and staffing forecasts, and Statistical reporting.
  • Assist month-end close activities including journal entries, report generation, and deliverable preparation.
  • Produce variance explanations, cost analyses, and performance summaries for stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain databases and files (Excel and Access) to automate tasks and improve accuracy.
  • Execute special projects and assist with costing performance and AOP (Annual Operating Plan) activities.
  • Document, perform, and improve key internal controls.

What We’re Looking For

  • College degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required (BS preferred).
  • Entry-level / early career: designed for candidates within ~2 years of completing their degree.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment and balance multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Skills & Tools

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (required).
  • Microsoft Access development and maintenance (preferred).
  • Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems (preferred).
  • Financial reporting, variance analysis, and basic costing knowledge.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and internal control documentation.
