What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Financial Analyst to join their team on a contract-to-permanent basis in Saint Paul, MO. This hands-on role supports reporting, forecasting, and market analysis used for day-to-day business decisions.
- Review financial data sets and summarize trends, variances, and performance indicators for internal stakeholders.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports to support budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning.
- Analyze market information and economic conditions to identify factors that may influence financial performance.
- Gather, organize, and validate data to improve the accuracy of financial reporting and analysis.
- Use financial research tools and market-data platforms to support investment and business-related evaluations.
- Collaborate with finance and operations team members to provide timely analytical support for ongoing initiatives.
- Monitor key metrics and communicate notable changes, risks, or opportunities clearly in writing and verbally.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field.
- Foundational knowledge of financial analysis principles and reporting practices.
- Comfort working with large datasets — identify patterns and present findings clearly.
- Familiarity with financial markets and drivers of market performance.
- Proficiency with Excel and other analytical tools to organize and evaluate information.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience with financial research platforms or market-data subscriptions.
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial modeling.
- Coursework or internships in corporate finance, investment analysis, or related areas.
Compensation & Logistics
- Hourly rate: 23.75 USD — 27.50 USD per hour (contract-to-permanent opportunity).
- Location: Saint Paul, MO (on-site or local to the Saint Paul, Missouri area as required).
- Employment type: Contract-to-permanent (initial contract, with potential conversion).
