Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Financial Analyst (Program Controls) to support program cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting for programs based in El Segundo, CA. This is a hybrid, full-time role that provides hands-on training with tools like SAP/APEX, Business Warehouse, RPlan, and Estimate at Completion (EAC) processes. U.S. citizenship is required for this position.

What You’ll Do

• Provide end-to-end financial support across the program lifecycle — from proposal costing and startup through baselining, Inter-Organizational Transfer (IOT) processing, and mature program cost control.
• Support annual operating plan preparation and Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliant Estimate at Completion (EAC) activities.
• Produce analysis and reporting for program funding profiles, bookings, sales and earnings outlooks, billing projections, and variance analysis.
• Use business systems (SAP/APEX, Business Warehouse, RPlan) to prepare forecasts, reconciliations, and ad-hoc analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help drive accurate planning, forecasting and budget execution.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related business field.
• Less than 2 years of relevant finance experience (entry-level).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access certain financial systems and meet contractual requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $62,900 — $119,700 USD (good-faith estimate covering all experience levels). Actual offers consider role, experience, location, education, and skills.
• Benefits may include: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short/long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, parental leave, and eligibility for incentive programs (dependent on role and business unit).

• Role type: Hybrid — work both onsite and remotely per business needs. Onsite work will be based in El Segundo, CA (2000 E El Segundo Blvd).
• Relocation assistance is not provided.
