What You’ll Do
This Contract-to-Hire, entry-level Financial Analyst role supports day-to-day accounting operations and basic financial reporting for a growing beauty & wellness brand. You will work in an ERP environment and use Excel to ensure accurate transaction recording, support month-end close, and prepare materials for audits and management.
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the ERP system and Excel.
- Manage accounts payable tasks: invoice processing, vendor payments, and vendor reconciliations.
- Maintain and review general ledger entries and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare documentation and schedules to support internal and external audits.
- Generate routine financial reports and respond to ad-hoc reporting requests from leadership.
- Perform basic variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and highlight discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting questions and discrepancies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (strong internships welcome).
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency with Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP or equivalent).
- Experience using an ERP system for transaction entry and reporting.
- Basic understanding of general ledger accounting and journal entries.
- Exposure to month-end / year-end close activities and audit preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.

Work Environment & Schedule
- On-site onboarding five days per week initially; transitions to a hybrid schedule (four days in the office, one remote day on Wednesdays) after training.
- Typical hours: 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- This role offers exposure to modern ERP systems, Excel-based reporting, and audit processes.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour.
- Compensation offered will depend on experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
