Overview

Confidential Client (Accounting & Finance) is hiring an entry-level Financial Analyst — Program Controls to join a hybrid finance team supporting program-level financial management. This role offers hands-on training in program cost controls, forecasting, and business systems (SAP/APEX, Business Warehouse, Rplan) and will expose you to processes like Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Annual Operating Plan preparation.

This position is hybrid (onsite & remote) with possible onsite work in McKinney, TX or Andover, MA. U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements.


What You’ll Do

  • Support program financials across the lifecycle — from proposal support and initial cost estimating through baselining, Inter-Organizational Transfer (IOT) processing, and mature program cost control.
  • Prepare and support Estimate at Completion (EAC) processes and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance activities.
  • Contribute to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) preparation using business planning tools (Rplan).
  • Use SAP/APEX and Business Warehouse for reporting and analysis of funding profiles, bookings, sales and earnings outlook, billing projections, and variance analysis.
  • Produce sales and cost forecasts, billing projections, and variance explanations for program stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and program leadership; prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related business field.
  • Less than 2 years of relevant experience (entry-level).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); ability to analyze and present financial data.
  • Prior professional experience in a finance-related role (internships or entry-level roles acceptable).
  • U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility to access certain financial management systems per government contract requirements.

  • Comfortable learning new systems and business tools (SAP/APEX, Business Warehouse, Rplan).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $57,200 - $108,800 USD (good-faith estimate across experience levels).
  • Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, holidays, and eligibility for incentive programs (subject to business unit and role).
  • Training, career development opportunities, and exposure to multiple finance disciplines.

Work Arrangement & Additional Details

  • Role type: Hybrid — regular mix of onsite and remote work; onsite schedule to be determined with leader. Commuting is the employee’s responsibility.
  • Onsite work may be performed at McKinney, TX or Andover, MA locations depending on business needs. Relocation assistance is not being provided.
  • As part of a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend certain interview steps in-person, even for hybrid/remote-designated roles.
