What You’ll Do
This Financial Analysis Associate will support product cost, pricing, and profitability analysis for production products at the Confidential Client site in Richardson, TX (hybrid). Responsibilities include:
- Provide product cost and pricing support for products in production for the assigned site/region.
- Prepare profit and loss analyses and determine product-level profitability using established price and cost models.
- Support business case creation for capital expenditures and design/process changes.
- Perform product cost analysis, identify variances between actual and assumed costs, and provide input for material-cost calculations.
- Track and support recovery of engineering changes (EC), non-recurring engineering (NRE), upgrades, and rework activities.
- Generate routine and ad-hoc financial reports; interpret results for business partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement process improvements.
- Present findings clearly in written reports and internal presentations.
- Follow established procedures and work under moderate supervision while developing independent judgment.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with financial models and large data sets.
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel; ability to generate reports and troubleshoot data input issues.
- Good oral and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and reporting.
- Ability to work cooperatively within teams and across functions.
- Entry-level to early-career candidates are encouraged (0–2 years relevant experience).
Typical Experience & Education
- 0–2 years of relevant finance, cost analysis, or accounting experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Office-based role with hybrid work options.
- Extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on computer displays are common.
- Repetitive manual tasks such as data entry may be required.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
