Role Summary

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Financial Advisor based in Fargo, ND (remote after training and licensing). This role focuses on building client relationships, financial planning, and growing a book of business. Note: the client can only consider applicants who currently reside in Minnesota (MN), North Dakota (ND), West Wisconsin, North Iowa, or South Dakota (SD). Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.


Responsibilities

  • Seek, identify, and develop strong relationships with new and existing clients as a trusted financial advisor
  • Provide strategic recommendations for products, investment options, and planning strategies to help clients meet financial goals
  • Create customized financial plans tailored to each client’s life stage and financial situation
  • Analyze cash flow, income, assets, liabilities, and overall financial health to recommend appropriate wealth-management solutions
  • Participate in ongoing training and collaborate with senior advisors and team members

What You’ll Do

  • Build a local and national client base through networking and referrals
  • Assess client needs and deliver personalized financial plans
  • Use modern tools and CRM systems to manage client accounts and communications
  • Receive mentorship and hands-on training from experienced advisors
  • Grow professionally toward a fully licensed advising role (remote work possible after licensing)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field required
  • Strong numerical, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, CRM systems, and/or financial planning software
  • Interest in financial products and a career in wealth management
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63/66 licenses are a plus but not required at hire

Compensation & Location

  • First-year average compensation: $80,000 – $105,000 (based on typical first-year results)
  • Estimated annual figure shown on some sources: ~$56,684 (varies by production)
  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Location: Fargo, ND (role supports remote work after training/licensing). Hiring restricted to residents of MN, ND, West Wisconsin, North Iowa, and SD — applicants must be U.S. work-authorized.
