What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a Financial Accountant to join the Accounting & Finance team in Fenton, MO. This hands‑on role supports day‑to‑day accounting operations and month‑end close activities to help maintain accurate financial records.
Compensation: $20–$25 per hour.
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accounting files
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including collections
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Support monthly, quarterly and year‑end closings
- Assist internal and external audits by compiling supporting documentation
- Prepare basic financial reports and schedules as requested
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
- Maintain reliable attendance and timeliness
Qualifications
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail, integrity, and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with accounting software; NetSuite experience is a plus

Education & Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field from an accredited college or university
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (relevant internships may be considered)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures
