What You’ll Do

This Finance Transformation Consultant (Finance Operations, Experienced Associate) will work with client finance teams to improve financial performance, reporting, and decision making. You will analyze financial data, build metrics and dashboards, and support budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements that drive efficiency and strategic outcomes.

  • Analyze financial and operational data to define KPIs and performance metrics
  • Design and implement performance management frameworks and reporting processes
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities across business units
  • Build financial models and perform complex data analysis to inform recommendations
  • Use financial management and data visualization tools to create actionable insights
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather requirements and tailor solutions
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization through data-driven analysis
  • Assist with due diligence, financial modeling, and preparing client-ready deliverables
  • Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Analytics/Data Science, Business, Computer Science, or related field (required)
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in finance, accounting, analytics, or consulting
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modeling and data analysis
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and spreadsheet modeling
  • Familiarity with financial management or ERP software is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in client-facing engagements and collaborating across teams
  • Strong attention to detail and a continuous learning mindset

  • Degree or coursework in Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Finance, Risk Management, or Computer Science
  • Demonstrated experience optimizing processes and implementing forecasting techniques
  • Proven ability to turn complex data into clear, visual insights for decision makers

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $61,000 - $100,000 per year. Actual pay will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable law.
  • Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
  • Benefits typically include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other standard employee benefits (details vary by location and the hiring client).

Location & Eligibility

  • Primary work location: Grand Central / New York, NY (10176). This role may require occasional client site visits or travel depending on engagement needs.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
