What You’ll Do

As a Finance Technology Analyst on the Government & Public Services team, you will support client engagements focused on modernizing accounting, reporting, and financial operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Support stakeholders with financial and non-financial accounting and reporting challenges.
  • Contribute to modernization of accounting capabilities through process, technology, and data solutions.
  • Assist with designing or configuring software and systems to automate routine financial tasks and manage financial data.
  • Use data analytics to validate financial information and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Help maintain an effective internal control environment to support compliance and decision-making.
  • Prepare client deliverables, participate in meetings, and communicate findings clearly in written and verbal formats.
  • Collaborate with project teams; support workstreams and, where appropriate, lead small project tasks.
  • Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced client-facing environment.

The Team

You will be aligned to the Government & Public Services practice serving federal, state and local government agencies, higher education, and nonprofit clients. Teams work across strategy, operations, technology, and transformation to improve mission outcomes. This role provides exposure across client environments and opportunities to develop a consulting skillset in finance technology and accounting transformation.


Qualifications (Required)

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university expected to graduate by Summer 2027, or possess a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Finance Technology, Information Systems, Technology Management, Accounting, or an equivalent program.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Reside within a commutable distance (for example, ~100-mile radius) of the assigned office with ability to commute daily when required.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average, depending on client and project needs.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (as required for certain client work).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of deliverables.
  • Ability to build and sustain professional relationships and work both independently and in teams.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, and provide clear guidance to others when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.
  • Internship, project, or coursework experience in business analytics, computer science, finance technology, information systems, accounting, or technology management.
  • Demonstrated experience or coursework using data analytics, accounting systems, or automation tools.

This is an entry-level opportunity intended for candidates beginning a career in finance technology and consulting. Compensation

The disclosed salary range for this role is a reasonable estimate and may vary by candidate qualifications and location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,000 to $91,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and other business factors. Where applicable, this posting has been prepared in compliance with state pay transparency laws.


Location, Travel & Clearance

  • Primary work location: Rosslyn, VA (22209).
  • Travel: Up to 50% on average.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance may be required depending on client assignment.
  • Work authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
