What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an FP&A Consultant (Experienced Associate) to support client engagements that improve financial performance and decision-making. In this role you will work on budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analytics to help clients translate data into strategic action.

• Analyze financial data and develop meaningful performance metrics and KPIs
• Design and implement performance management frameworks to increase operational efficiency
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and scenario analysis
• Use financial management and data visualization tools to extract insights and present recommendations
• Create and monitor budgets and financial trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with client teams to understand needs and deliver tailored financial solutions
• Apply rigorous data analysis to inform business decisions and improve processes
• Learn on the job, contribute to team deliverables, and support senior staff in client-facing work

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience in finance, FP&A, consulting, or related roles
• Strong Excel skills and experience building financial models
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and performance measurement
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Degree or coursework in Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Finance, Risk Management, or Information Systems
• Prior industry experience in Banking & Capital Markets, Industrials, or Consumer Packaged Goods
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and financial management systems
• Demonstrated ability to apply complex data analysis to business problems
• Strong presentation, active listening, and client-facing skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $61,000 - $100,000 per year. Actual pay depends on experience, qualifications, and location, and will comply with applicable employment laws.
• Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus (where applicable)
• Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other standard employer benefits (specific offerings vary by location and hire date)
