What You’ll Do

As an FP&A Consultant (Experienced Associate) with Confidential Client, you will work on client-facing engagements to improve financial performance and decision-making. You’ll perform financial analysis, build models, and help design processes and dashboards that support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

• Analyze financial data to develop KPIs and performance metrics
• Design and implement performance management and reporting frameworks
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate scenarios and support decisions
• Use financial management and data-visualization tools to extract insights
• Monitor financial trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction or efficiency
• Collaborate with client teams to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions
• Apply a continuous-learning mindset to grow technical and client relationship skills

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (any field)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience in finance, FP&A, consulting, or related roles
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience in financial modeling and forecasting
• Experience using data visualization or financial management software
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with diverse teams

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, Analytics/Data Science, Business, Computer Science/Information Systems, or Risk Management
• Prior industry experience in Banking & Capital Markets, Industrials, Consumer Packaged Goods, or similar
• Familiarity with tools such as Excel (advanced), Power BI or Tableau, and common FP&A systems
• Experience applying complex data analysis to influence business decisions

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $61,000 – $100,000 per year. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will comply with applicable employment laws.
• Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
• Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, retirement savings (e.g., 401k), paid time off, and other standard employer benefits. Specific benefits and eligibility will be provided by Confidential Client.

Location & Worksite

This position is based in Detroit, MI (48208). Work arrangement (on-site, hybrid, remote) will be determined by Confidential Client and communicated during the hiring process.
