What You’ll Do

This Finance Operations Analyst will support the Senior Manager, Finance Operations by ensuring procurement evidence, P2P (procure‑to‑pay) workflows, and operational controls are complete and audit‑ready. Responsibilities include reporting support, documentation maintenance, procurement controls and SOX compliance administration, QA of procurement data, and coordination with cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize SharePoint repositories (cleanup, document migration, folder structure, audit storage).
  • Draft and update SOPs, process maps, workflows, and control narratives for finance operations.
  • Maintain procurement SOX evidence (POs, packing slips, receiving documentation, invoice approvals, vendor support).
  • Validate end‑to‑end procure‑to‑pay documentation for control testing (PO → receiving → invoice).
  • Support procurement SOX testing activities: approval routing, segregation of duties checks, and completeness of receiving.
  • Review purchase requisitions and perform secondary reviews of POs for correct project codes, amounts, and approval routing.
  • Reconcile open‑PO and receiving reports; escalate and document discrepancies for month‑end/quarter‑end close.
  • Maintain procurement trackers (open POs, RMAs, packing slip issues, approval status) and ensure issues are escalated appropriately.
  • Review and QA procurement data during Costpoint, Concur and Jira updates to align with SOX and audit requirements.
  • Support audit and PCAOB requests: maintain audit folders, assist with contract tie‑outs, and ensure data accuracy for audit retrieval.
  • Review and validate new project‑code requests, prepare cleanup lists, and support administrative updates affecting procurement routing and reporting.
  • Prepare materials and coordinate with external consultants (accounting, SOX, system) and internal stakeholders (PMs, A/P, Operations, IT, Engineering) to resolve documentation gaps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort verifying supporting documentation (invoice vs PO vs packing slip).
  • Basic Excel skills and willingness to learn procurement modules (Costpoint, Concur).
  • Interest in operational finance, procurement workflows, and internal controls / SOX compliance.
  • Highly organized, methodical, communicates clearly, and follows up reliably.
  • Comfortable investigating and documenting discrepancies and supporting remediation.

  • Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000 USD per year.
