What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Finance Operations Analysts to join a Trade Support / Derivatives Clearing team in Baltimore, MD (hybrid). You will help manage daily trade flow for futures and options, support clearing operations, and help reduce operational risk through process improvements.

• Daily trade support for futures and options across North American (and some European) markets
• Resolve client, exchange, and risk trade breaks
• Manage trade allocations for institutional and wealth-management clients
• Investigate and resolve clearing exceptions and facilitate exchange trade entry
• Develop and document trade-flow solutions and automation opportunities
• Perform root-cause analysis and escalate/mitigate risk issues
• Support continuous improvement of controls, processes, and documentation
• Build and manage relationships with internal teams and external counterparties
• Participate proactively in team meetings and contribute solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent finance experience
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Able to work effectively in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Excel and Word
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Team-oriented with the ability to build cross-functional relationships
• Eagerness to learn derivatives clearing, trade lifecycle, and related systems

Location & Schedule

• Hybrid role based in Baltimore, MD — on-site / remote schedule to be determined by the hiring team

Compensation

• Pay range: $20–$22 per hour (as listed by the client)
