Position Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Finance Analyst to support project accounting and operational finance functions within the Accounting & Finance industry. In this role you will gain hands-on experience across cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, billing, human capital management, and compliance. You will help with month-end close activities and prepare financial reporting packages that support project management and decision-making.
This position is based in Centennial, CO. Project assignments may require travel or relocation as business needs dictate.
Responsibilities
- Adapt to project needs and support cross-functional teams
- Build strong relationships with operations and learn project workflows
- Process and troubleshoot payroll and HR-related transactions
- Support purchasing, invoice processing, and accounts payable workflows
- Assist with client and intercompany billing and ensure timely billing documentation
- Review costs and adjustments for accuracy and compliance with accounting rules
- Validate budgets, forecasts, quantity claiming and exception reports; recommend corrections
- Provide high-quality internal customer service and clear, timely communication
- Follow corporate compliance, EEO, and applicable labor rules at the project level
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of financial or data analysis experience
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, or equivalent
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with pivot tables and VLOOKUP preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
- Valid driver’s license and ability to access all parts of a construction site in varying climates and environments
- Willingness to travel and relocate as business needs require; previous internship experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Base compensation: $78,000/yr – $81,000/yr (actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and location)

Location & Travel
This role is based in Centennial, CO. Projects can be regionally diverse and may require travel or temporary relocation; flexibility is essential.
