Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Finance Program Cost Controls Analyst to join the AIM-9X Development & Integration finance team. This is a hands-on, onsite finance role based in Tucson, AZ supporting a program expected to see significant bookings growth. You will be trained on practical program finance tools and processes (EVMS, EACs, monthly close routines) and use systems such as SAP/APEX, Business Warehouse, forProject and Business Planning (Rplan) to support reporting and forecasting.

What You’ll Do

• Provide financial support to program teams through weekly cost reports and earned value management execution.
• Prepare and maintain periodic Estimates at Completion (EACs) and support contractual financial deliverables.
• Support a portfolio of contracts across development, platform integration, and international projects, including project setup, execution support, and closure tasks.
• Perform billing projections, bookings and sales outlook analysis, and variance analysis for program funding profiles.
• Respond to ad-hoc financial requests from program and broader finance teams; contribute in a fast-paced, multitask environment.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
• Less than 2 years of prior relevant finance experience (entry-level / P1).
• Basic understanding of financial principles including forecasting and budgeting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required (only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance).

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Get & Transform).
• Experience with Power Query / Power BI is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP/APEX, Business Warehouse, or program controls tools is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary range: $57,200 — $108,800 USD per year (good-faith estimate covering all experience levels).
• Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending, employee assistance programs, parental leave, paid time off, and other programs depending on business unit and eligibility.
• Relocation assistance is not available.

Work Location & Clearance

• Work location: Onsite in Tucson, AZ.
• Security: DoD Secret clearance required — active/obtainable after day one as specified. Candidates must be eligible for and able to maintain required clearance.
• Note: As part of the secure hiring process, some interview steps may require in-person attendance at a company location.
