Role overview

Confidential Client (a semiconductor manufacturing company) is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply. This is a direct-hire, full-time opportunity based in Santa Clara, CA.

What You’ll Do

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on semiconductor capital equipment at customer locations.
• Inspect and evaluate customer usage, document findings, and recommend best practices.
• Submit clear service, activity and expense reports to management in a timely manner.
• Participate in follow-up training and product updates (some training may be provided in Japan).
• Support sales efforts by advising customers and helping maintain strong customer relationships.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Flexibility to travel to customer sites as required.
• Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to participate in additional product training and occasional international training activities.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $85,000 – $97,000 per year, plus benefits.
