About the Role
Confidential Client is hiring a Field Sales Representative to drive sales of paint and related products through a network of retail stores in the Idaho territory (Idaho City, ID area). In this territory-focused role you will manage assigned PRO accounts, develop territory business plans, work with retail partners, and execute in-store merchandising and replenishment to grow sales.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with store management at a national home improvement retailer to develop and execute sales growth plans for Confidential Client products.
- Engage customers in-store to identify opportunities to introduce and sell products to PRO and retail customers.
- Manage assigned Pro Managed Accounts with a focus on organic growth and new customer acquisition.
- Use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to track accounts, opportunities and activities.
- Analyze territory sales reports and build strategic territory business plans.
- Identify and secure in-store merchandising (wing stacks, bulk stacks, end caps, stack-outs) to create high-impact displays.
- Ensure automatic replenishment (CAR) supports rate-of-sale and perform cycle counts to maintain accurate on‑hand inventory.
- Maintain color centers, perform shelf maintenance, and complete product resets during Product Line Reviews.
- Work independently in the field and report to the Regional Manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of sales experience (may include coursework or internships).
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Comfortable with a field/territory schedule and in-store selling.
- Proficiency or willingness to learn CRM systems.
- Able to work a 45-hour work week (role includes base salary plus overtime pay).

Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated pay (from source): approximately $53,201 per year (estimated).
- This position participates in a Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) reimbursement program for vehicle expenses (tax-free reimbursements for fixed and variable vehicle costs).
- This role is full-time and field-based; travel within the assigned territory is required.
