Role Overview
Confidential Client (a PR, Advertising & Marketing organization) is hiring a Field Marketing Coordinator based in Chicago, IL. This is an entry-level, full-time role focused on event and field marketing execution — trade shows, conferences, customer events, and regional campaigns that generate pipeline and deepen customer and prospect relationships. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and comfort with hands-on logistics and cross-team coordination.
What You’ll Do
- Support the execution of field marketing programs and event strategies to drive pipeline and increase brand presence in target markets.
- Coordinate logistics for regional events and trade shows — manage vendors, shipping, timelines, and on-site setup.
- Assist with planning and executing the annual customer conference: promotions, registration, vendor coordination, on-site logistics, and post-event follow-up.
- Partner with go-to-market teams to align event messaging with campaign objectives and product positioning.
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to develop promotional materials that meet brand standards.
- Track event and campaign performance using marketing automation and CRM to contribute to ROI reporting and event recaps.
- Coordinate with local industry associations, partners, and vendors to support event logistics and expand reach.
- Represent Confidential Client professionally at events and travel to event locations as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in event coordination, field marketing, or a related role; recent graduates encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace; familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) in a marketing context.
- Ability to travel occasionally and work flexible hours to support events.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting trade shows, conferences, or B2B marketing events.
- Familiarity with marketing automation or CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
- Interest in or exposure to the public sector, government technology, or SaaS industries.
Compensation & Location
- Location: Chicago, IL (on-site / regional travel as required).
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 per year (range includes base plus potential variable compensation based on company and individual performance). Final compensation will be determined by qualifications, experience, and candidate location in accordance with applicable laws.
