Position summary

Confidential Client is seeking a Field Engineer to support Power Delivery Services and construction coordination across project lifecycles. This role focuses on pre‑construction preparation, submittal and RFI management, QA/QC, field coordination, and supporting mobilization and closeout activities. This opening is for a contract, full‑time engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre‑construction support and prepare project‑specific mobilization tasks
• Lead submittal and RFI processes for definable features of work using PMA and Project Connect
• Review and distribute design and engineering documents; maintain submittal registers
• Prepare turnover binder templates and assist with Pre‑Mobilization Kickoff meetings
• Compile, contact, and arrange short‑form subcontracts with local site entities (power, trailers, housing, local subs)
• Assist drafting subcontracts and purchase agreements
• Use the Best Practice Database for SWIs, quality documents, and prep meetings
• Lead construction support activities and enforce QA/QC per the Project Quality Plan
• Manage inventory processes as materials arrive: inspection, offload, receiving, storage
• Coordinate DFW prep meetings, inspections, punch lists, and final closeout deliverables
• Support Project Manager and Superintendents with material and equipment management
• Manage MEP coordination drawings, shop drawings, as‑builts, and lift/formwork drawings
• Maintain production logs and track Event Management incidents for Safety/Quality
• Administer contract closeout and compile turnover documentation per project plans
• Participate in project safety audits and the client’s Zero Injury Safety Program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil or Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management
• Previous related internship or field experience is helpful
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize multiple tasks concurrently
• Basic understanding of construction law and standard business practices
• Strong teamwork, initiative, communication, and analytical skills
• Customer‑focused, professional attitude
• Current driver’s license required

• Base pay range: $78,800 MIN – $98,500 MAX (range varies slightly by certain office locations)
• Eligible for the client’s incentive program (where applicable)
