Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Field Engineers (Spring 2027 grads) to join site teams in Glendale, CA. This full-time, on-site role supports project delivery across building construction projects and provides hands-on experience with document control, field coordination, safety, and quality processes. The position is ideal for recent graduates in construction management, engineering, or architecture who want accelerated, on-the-job development.

What You’ll Do

• Mentor and lead site inspections and orientations; identify hazards and corrective actions and promote safe work practices.
• Coordinate workforce planning with superintendents and support crew supervision for self-perform scopes.
• Maintain project document control (RFIs, shop drawings, changes, billings) and support project engineers/superintendents.
• Track labor and quantities for Labor Cost Reports (LCRs) and assist with labor tracking processes.
• Coordinate third-party inspections, site reviews, and participate in implementing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Mentor field interns and junior engineers, and help resolve on-site issues quickly and professionally.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with subcontractors, designers, inspectors, and project partners.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience.
• 0–12 months related field experience preferred; internships or co-ops count toward experience.
• Familiarity with construction specifications, formwork methodologies, self-perform and subcontracted scopes, temporary works, equipment, and basic scheduling techniques.
• Ability to apply construction principles to problem-solve on site.
• Strong verbal and written communication with supervisors, subcontractors and inspectors.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction-related software; ability to prepare clear technical communications.
• Commitment to building effective partner relationships and professional development.

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated salary range: $83,000 – $88,000 per year (based on experience). Final compensation will be confirmed in a personalized offer.
