What You’ll Do
This entry-level Field Engineer role supports heavy civil construction projects in and around Lake Dallas, TX. You will work alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, and field crews to help deliver safe, on-time, quality construction.
- Support quality control efforts to ensure work meets project specifications
- Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and survey needs for field crews
- Track daily and weekly production through quantity reporting and timecard review
- Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, inspectors, and owner representatives
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and documentation
- Maintain accurate project records, reports, and as-built data
- Support Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project activities and site communications
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an Engineering degree required
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices
- Previous internship or construction experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to travel to project sites within the Dallas–Fort Worth area as required
- Willingness to work days, nights, and weekends based on project needs
- Strong communication, organization, and basic field-survey awareness
Location & Schedule
- Primary work location: Lake Dallas, TX (project sites across the Dallas–Fort Worth division)
- Field-based role; regular travel to active construction sites required
- Schedule may include nights and weekends depending on project requirements
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated pay (as posted): $78,410 per year — estimated
- Employment type: Full-time or Contractor (depends on assignment)
