Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Federal Associate Consultant — Finance to join a US Federal practice delivering secure, mission-critical IT and business transformation services to government customers. In this consulting role you will work with federal, state, and local stakeholders to help align business strategy, modernize finance-related processes, and apply data-driven insights to improve outcomes. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Federal security clearance.

Start window: anticipated between July and September 2027. Location: Marfrance, WV. Employment type: Full-time.

What You’ll Do

• Project the business value of proposed solutions in client-relevant terms and help drive adoption of KPIs with stakeholders
• Develop clear, audience-tailored communications while working in an agile, collaborative environment
• Apply Design Thinking and structured problem solving to analyze client challenges and recommend pragmatic solutions
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform recommendations and map capability gaps
• Support design, business architecture, process development, functional implementation, and application support as needed
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to client-facing deliverables
• Travel to client sites as required (willingness to travel up to 100%)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Federal security clearance (required)
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills with ability to derive actionable recommendations from data
• Outcome-focused with resilience and flexibility across consultative contexts
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively in teams and build relationships at all levels
• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 100%)
• Openness to learning and a growth mindset; transferable skills are welcome

Preferred / Nice-to-have

• Exposure to Design Thinking or similar human-centered design approaches
• Background in government or federal consulting, finance process improvement, or technology-enabled business transformation
• Experience working in agile teams or supporting application implementations
• Relevant certifications or coursework in analytics, business analysis, or process improvement

Compensation & Logistics

• Estimated pay (source listing): $119,450 per year (estimated)
• Location: Marfrance, WV — candidates must be able to work on-site or travel to client facilities as required
