Position Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a motivated, entry‑level Family Law Attorney to join a growing family law team in Fort Mill, SC. This role is an excellent fit for a new or early‑career attorney who wants hands‑on training, courtroom exposure, and mentorship while developing core family‑law skills: client counseling, drafting pleadings, discovery, case preparation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized, accurate, and up‑to‑date client files and case records
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, settlement agreements, proposed orders, and other family law documents
• Assist clients with issues involving division of marital assets, including real estate and other property
• Prepare cases and support hearings; represent clients in court as experience and responsibility grow
• Analyze legal and factual issues and work with the legal team to develop effective case strategies
• Communicate regularly with clients and help move matters efficiently from intake through resolution

Qualifications

• J.D. degree required
• Bachelor’s degree with a legal background (as noted)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor, empathy, and a client‑focused approach
• Ability to manage multiple matters and maintain accurate case files
• Motivated to learn, accept mentorship, and grow a family law practice

• Compensation: $90,000+ yearly (DOE)
• Estimated market salary shown for this listing: $100,604 per year (estimate)
