Role Summary
The Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Facilities Project Management Specialist to support facilities projects, maintenance coordination, and safety program activities at the Haslet, TX site. This role offers hands-on exposure to project coordination (CapEx and operational projects), vendor interaction, basic drawing review, and safety tracking — a strong opportunity for career growth into facilities or project leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Work with the Facilities Project Manager to plan, track, and help execute facilities and CapEx projects
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, and trackers to support timely deliverables
- Coordinate with vendors for quotes, scheduling, procurement, and project updates
- Support project milestones including procurement, installation, commissioning, and closeout activities
- Assist in facility space planning, basic layout and design concepts, and review submittals/drawings under supervision
- Support infrastructure planning (electrical, racking, equipment placement) and provide technical references to maintenance teams
- Assist with CAD drawings, documentation, and maintenance coordination as needed to support operations
- Help identify recurring facility issues and support implementation of improvement solutions
- Support internal event setup and facility-related logistics when required
- Collaborate with the Safety Manager to track safety actions, audits, corrective measures and incident documentation
- Help implement safety improvements (signage, mirrors, mitigation measures) and manage employee badge/access control requests
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S) and other assigned duties that support facility operations
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical), Construction Management, Project Management, or related field preferred — equivalent relevant facilities or operations experience considered
- 0–2 years’ experience in facilities, construction, engineering, project coordination, or operations support; internship experience is a plus
- Basic ability to read drawings and understand construction/engineering fundamentals
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with project tracking or scheduling tools is a plus
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Eagerness to learn facilities systems, safety practices, and project management processes
- Preferred: OSHA, First Aid/CPR, Lean or Six Sigma certifications
