Facilities Engineer Midland, TX — Entry-level facilities/civil engineering role supporting operating assets and projects for a confidential client in the Engineering industry. This position enrolls new engineers in an early-career Horizons development program that combines formal training, on-the-job competency development, mentoring, and multiple job assignments.
What You’ll Do
- Optimize facilities to deliver maximum value safely and reliably.
- Provide technical engineering support for turnarounds and projects.
- Develop and/or deploy technologies to reduce carbon intensity, increase efficiency, and maximize returns.
- Use digitalization and data analytics to improve process operations and safety.
- Participate in the Horizons Program on a Civil/Structural/Marine development track to build capabilities in design, analysis, fabrication, construction, transport, installation, and startup of onshore, offshore, and nearshore facilities.
- Support small project execution and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

What You Must Have
- Students completing the final year of requirements for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering; or individuals with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering with two years or less of directly related work experience.
- Strong academic performance and demonstrated skills in communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem solving.
- Position may require routine driving.
- Ability to demonstrate the confidential client’s safety-first and ethical standards.
Compensation & Benefits
- Anticipated salary range: $108,000 - $136,300. Final compensation will be determined based on degree level and discipline.
