Position Overview

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Process / Facilities Engineers (Chemical) to support operating facilities and capital projects across multiple U.S. locations. This full-time, hybrid-role is part of an early-career development program that combines formal training, hands-on assignments, mentoring, and rotational experiences to build core process engineering skills in separation, purification, transformation, and transportation of hydrocarbon and other process streams.

What You’ll Do

  • Support operating facilities and projects using core process engineering knowledge and project support skills.
  • Optimize facilities for safe, reliable, and efficient performance.
  • Provide technical engineering support during turnarounds and maintenance activities.
  • Help develop and deploy technologies to reduce carbon intensity, increase efficiency, and maximize returns.
  • Apply digitalization and data analytics to improve process operations and safety.
  • Participate in a structured early-career development track (multi-assignment rotations, mentoring, on-the-job competency development).

What You Must Have

  • Students completing the final year of requirements for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering; OR individuals with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering with two years or less of directly related work experience.
  • Strong academic performance in core chemical engineering subjects.
  • Demonstrated communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to drive routinely as part of job duties (may be required).
  • Ability to demonstrate Confidential Client’s values and professional standards.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Anticipated salary range: $111,000 – $136,000 annually. Final pay will be determined based on degree level and discipline.
  • Competitive benefits package, including variable pay, healthcare, retirement plans, protection coverage, paid time off, training and development programs, and applicable allowances.
  • Relocation may be considered for some assignments.

  • Confidential Client is unable to sponsor employment visas or consider applicants on time-limited visa status for this position.
