About the role

Confidential Client is hiring a Fabric & Home Care Purchasing Manager to lead supplier execution and digital purchasing capabilities for printed packaging materials. This role will build and lead the Material Execution Team (MET), drive supplier performance, and advance digital tools that improve supplier collaboration, visibility, and operational performance.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and lead the Fabric & Home Care Material Execution Team (MET) to execute supply strategies and risk-mitigation plans.
• Own supplier execution for printed packaging materials and enforce supplier accountability through standardized scorecards and governance.
• Act as the Supply Purchasing Digital Champion — drive adoption and continuous improvement of digital supplier tools and inventory connections to improve visibility and responsiveness.
• Partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve supply issues, improve processes, and maintain business continuity.
• Lead capacity planning, forecasting improvements, and Below the Line (BTL) planning to improve supply reliability.
• Support new packaging supply chain setup, including SLEA creation, qualification of corrugated solutions, and business continuity planning.
• Use data, analytics, and digital tools to drive operational excellence and cost/performance improvements.
• Support sustainability, innovation, and transformation objectives through effective supplier collaboration.

You’ll Bring

• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or supplier relationship management with demonstrated performance leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with supply chain execution, material planning, forecasting, and capacity planning.
• Experience leading digital transformation or systems implementation for supplier collaboration or procurement.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, project management, and change management skills.
• Analytical skills and comfort using data to track performance and drive decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with printed packaging procurement (corrugated/packaging qualification).
• Experience creating or managing SLEAs and new supplier onboarding.
• Familiarity with supplier scorecards and performance governance.

Compensation & Schedule

• Employment type: Full time
• Pay range (posted): $90,700.00 - $116,500.00 per year
• Location: Saint Bernard, OH (on-site or site-aligned role as required by the client)
